If we define community as a social unit with a commonality such as a norm, religion, values, customs or identity this is Gravenhurst. Communities may share a sense of place situated in a given geographical area e.g. a country, village, town or neighbourhood this is Gravenhurst. We as a community have endured this past year and have had to communicate in virtual space, reinvent ourselves through communication platforms and we still remained a community, our community. That is why we find the need to open a new market the Gravenhurst Community Market so that we can showcase the many talented residents that live and make up this wonderful community. 

Our artisan market is a destination to meet and shop local makers and growers. Our Sunday market will run from June to September with vendors offering a variety of products, including both food and crafts and will be a showcase for new talent. This will be a perfect day out for the family tourists to meet our Gravenhurst Community.
